This is a great place to eat out if you like steak...which conveniently I do! Reasonable prices and a lot of choices makes for a perfect night.
Definitely a place to go if the weather is nice so you can make the most of the garden and outdoor bar.
Only drawback is it's a little far from anywhere else, so if you're hoping to make a night of it you have a longish walk ahead of you or expect to get a taxi....or (ohmygod) someone can't drink!! -

This restaurant is just a short walk from our home and a definite choice when we have younger guests staying with us who enjoy a more lively atmosphere with their food.
The menu selection is always imaginative, well cooked and well presented. There is,invariably, time to indulge in conversation between courses and an amusing lounge in which to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail.
Whilst we have not made use of the alfresco dining area,it is very popular and well appointed and neither it or the restaurant are affected by the proximity of the busy main road to Torquay seafront. -

Five of us went one Sunday for lunch. The cheesy laminated menu we had picked up for the place put us off (including the listing of Salmon as a vegetarian option), but one of our group was a local and wanted to try it.
On arrival the place was very cheesy, with dubious film memorabelia covering every surface. The waitress was nice, but tried to seat us in a small dark table in an awkward corner, despite it being a sunny day and the place being empty. We opted to move by the window. The room was hot and had that 'old people's home' smell so we asked the waitress to open the door. She did, then informed us that the regular menu wasn't being served and it was Sunday roast only. One of our party was vegetarian, and this wasn't ideal. Fortunately they did make her a large starter to have as a main course.
As for the food itself the roast was poor, the meat was tough and the gravy very salty, it seemed to be Bisto or similar. No one eat much.
We ducked out of deserts and made a quick exit, pausing only to marvel at the awfulness of the 'Hollywood' themed garden (again more cheesy film stuff).
Coming from London I think we are spoiled for choice, and this place wouldn't last two minutes in a more competitive environment. We won't be returning. -

Great Themed Restuarant, Menu is basic but the food is good and its a very enjoyable evening, Read the reviews about this restaurant being cheesey but i think thats part and parcel of a themed evening, but its certainly the only one of its kind in the bay and makes a change from the usual
